IDC-U80 availability

Hi,

we have had 3 ICD-U80's on order with DigiKey since July, now they are not even giving us an estimated delivery date.

Can any of you users here suggest alternatives from other companies . . . we can't just keep waiting and waiting.

We are using the PCHW compiler with PIC 18 family.

Have you checked out the PICkit 5 from Microchip?
https://www.microchip.com/en-us/development-tool/pg164150

you would need MPLABX and/or the IPE to use it, but it supports "stand-alone" programming (like the load-n-go) - though you'd have to use target power, or develop your own power source
