Hello CCS support team,

Does the ICD-U64 programmer support the DSPIC33CK MCUs?

SW rev 5.088
FW rev 3.68
HW rev 3 (PID195)

Thank you,
Oscar

Worked fine for me!
I used it with 33CH Dual core (using two ICDU64) and one with the 33CK single core.

You’re quite lucky then. I can program mine with Load-n-Go but will not work with two different ICD-U64’s with the latest FW. What gives?

I think I was using the 66 version rather than 68.
Haven't used 68 yet. You might try one of the earlier versions.

BTW, we are not CCS support, just a bunch of customer/users

Thanks

You did it, Dyeatman!

Thanks to your suggestion to revert back to 3.66 I went back and noticed that each FW revision has two associated upgrades: One for all non-DSPIC targets and one for all + DSPIC targets. I had erroneously chosen the non-DSPIC targets so now wonder it didn't work. Now it works on 3.68.

Your suggestion was quite serendipitous. Thank you again.

That is a bit of a 'classic'. The U80, has enough memory space that the
firmware is 'universal', but on the U64, there is not quite enough ROM, so
they do the two FW versions. The annoyance is that the U64 seems to be
more reliable in general than the U80 (though this does seem now to
be getting better on the later software releases). I wish they did a U64'2'
with a larger processor.... Very Happy

Just a comment. You started your post with Hello CCS support team.
