Access violation error message
PostPosted: Wed Jul 09, 2025 2:52 am     Reply with quote

Hello Everybody,

Just started getting the following error message from CCS compiler:

"Access violation at address 00A77193 in module 'pcw.exe'. Read of address 00000000."

I was running version 5.118 when I started to get it.

Removed it all and reinstalled 5.105 and still getting it.

Any ideas? Anybody seen this before?

Thanks for any help

I have seen this a number of times. Every time it was something in my code
the compiler didn't like. See if it compiles something known and simple (one of
their examples is a good choice).

If it doesn't compile the CCS example, I would report it to CCS.

If their example compiles successfully, I would comment out blocks of code in
your original program to isolate where it was crashing.
