I've seen this sentence somewhere else. “If you're developing with PIC microcontrollers using the CCS C Compiler, the CCS ICD is a great choice.

Agreed. The CCS ICD offers seamless integration and makes debugging so much smoother since it's built specifically for their compiler. If you are looking to source the debugger or other PIC microcontrollers, I usually use ichome as they have a solid inventory of development tools. What specific PIC family are you currently working on?
