It's nice to see the posts are growing !
ADC filtering was a 'must have'.
I can't understand how anyone could take just ONE reading, believe the result and do something using it. For the most part analog sensors are generally slow, say temperature, so you have LOTS of time to take several readings to confirm the reading is correct.
Even though I've gone from LM34 to DS18B20 for temperature sensing, I still take several readings, then average them. Not that I'm paranoid, but 'glitches' do occur... better safe than sorry.

Good. Hope you think the posts are worthwhile. As I already said, any
'suggestions' for other threads that should be added to this would be
appreciated. I'm busy doing one about TRIS, and pin/port I/O, and
the CCS I/O modes.
