ICD-U64 as production programmer?

PIC-KIT2
Normally I use PIC-KIT2 as my production programmer (have more then 30 of them), is handle on the go and up to now never made a programming error. It is long therm stable in the PIC over years no error too.

ICD-U64
I use it in development, and as my debugger. If I load the code with ICD-U64 to my target, sometime after few days the PIC start locking up or failing. Newer happened when using PIC-KIT2.

Is the ICD-U64 programming the PIC too fast (PIC-KIT2 is much slower)? Or is the ICD-U64 not a programmer, but only a development tools?

-What do you use in production? (production more then 100 customer unit each time)

I've used both an ICD-U64 and a Load-n-Go. Never had an issue with either. So far I've programmed runs of up to several hundreds of boards.
