hmm, wonder if those lamps would reduce the 15 minutes needed to erase the 16C84 I have...... Smile
hmm #2, wonder if they still make/sell the PICs with 'windows' anymore ?

I wasn't clear as to the application or actual use of the UV lamp, just that it was generating a lot of EMI.....

Key words to me were "kill some cell's".
5 years ago, mercury arc lamps were the absolute standard for this.
Now UV LED's are rapidly taking over.
The mercury lamps always were b&s!ards for EMI.....
